Many of you might have noticed the fish floating in the lake. Turnpro Aquatics is actively exploring what might have caused this. We hope to know what happened soon.

Do you remember the fish kill we had in August a few decades ago? It was due to extreme heat and as a result, low oxygen content in the lake. It seemed like there were hundreds of dead fish floating and around the edges of the lake. Consulting with OSU about how to clean it up told us to leave the fish and nature would eventually take care of them. There was a pretty bad smell for a week or so, but then it got better. I can’t remember what yer that was.
